Respite Care
Temporary care is available to provide relief and assistance for regular caregivers or those in transitional situations. Families are afforded the peace of mind knowing that their loved ones are receiving supervision, socialization, wellness, and nutrition. Most commonly, short-term care is used for the following reasons:
- Respite/Hospital Discharge
Respite is a term to describe a short stay for seniors who have been discharged from a hospital or other medical facility but are not physically prepared to return home. We treat short-term visitors with the same warmth and respect as our long-term residents. In fact, we find that our residents welcome new guests with open arms and inclusiveness. There’s a sense of camaraderie in the air when someone stays with us short-term because our residents understand the need to be surrounded by optimistic friends, especially during times of healing and recovery. - Vacation/Trial Stay
Before transitioning into a community, seniors have a chance to meet staff and other residents through a vacation or trial stay. They can experience activities and the dining program before deciding to move into a community. The program is intended to lessen the fear or anxiety usually associated with moving and changing residences. We welcome you and your family to visit us for a free tour and see if you’d like to sample the lifestyle.
