Full-time team members working 30+ hours per week are eligible to take advantage of the following benefits:
Through Regence Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Sunshine Retirement Living offers a comprehensive health insurance plan including primary physician co-pays at $25 per visit, no co-pay for emergency room visits, and a low individual annual deductible of $1,500. The plan also includes a prescription benefit that offers no charge for most generic and preferred brand preventative care drugs. Employees can insure themselves, a spouse, children, and/or family on the plan.
As part of the health insurance benefit, the plan provides for one eye exam per year and annual allowances for new glasses frames and lenses or contact lenses.
Includes 24/7/365 access to U.S. board-certified doctors and pediatricians by phone or online video.
Through Principal Dental, the company offers dental coverage with a maximum benefit of $1,000 annual per person. Employees can insure themselves, a spouse, children, and/or family on the plan, starting at the employee premium co-cost of $5.00 per pay period with a $50 annual deductible.
- Paid Time Off (PTO)
PTO is provided to all employees, with full-time employees accruing up to 6 days during the first year of service, and up to 20 days per year for employees with five of more years of service with the company.
- Birthday Celebration
In addition to regular PTO, the company provides employees 4 hours off with pay, to be used within 30 days of the employee’s birthday.
- Paid Holidays
Full-time employees are provided with 5 paid holidays per year and receive premium pay when the employee is scheduled to work on the designated holiday.

Sunshine’s daily pay system gives employees direct access to their paycheck when they need it without having to wait until the next pay day.

Employees who work an 8-hour shift are eligible to receive a free meal provided at the community during their work shift.
Through EMPOWER retirement, Sunshine provides employees the opportunity to save for retirement. As part of the benefit, the company provides eligible employees with a discretionary match of up to 50% of the employee’s own contributions up to 7%.
