Hi Rebecca,

Please know that I am very satisfied here at Garden Way.

I was unable to respond to the satisfaction survey you sent out a month ago because Google wouldn’t let me open it without a mobile phone or second email address for verification and I have neither.

The quote in the lobby says it all for me – “Where neighbors become friends and friends become family.”

I do feel part of a loving, extended family here. That feeling expands from staff throughout the residents. I think the varied activity areas located on each floor contribute nicely to the opportunity for people to mingle and get acquainted while engaging in personal interests. The overall atmosphere is friendly and accepting; people smile and make eye contact in the halls and other common areas, often including a greeting.

I am continually amazed at the dining room staff’s ability to say, “Yes, of course” to very specific meal requests from so many different diners and then return from the kitchen with the orders beautifully presented – always with a smile. Sharing names among staff and residents contributes to a warm sense of belonging, too.

Housekeeping staff give the impression of loving their work and happy to be here. Dillon and Jessie cheerfully, quickly, and efficiently keep things working smoothly and still seem to have unlimited time to hang pictures and help with individual needs of residents.

I’m glad I found you. Garden Way Retirement Community is everything I hoped it would be.
