Dedicating time to take care of your wellbeing at any age is the key component to practicing self-care. Luckily, adding self-care to your routine doesn’t have to take too much time; it can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour or more, depending on what works with your routine and preferences. Protecting your skin throughout all of the seasons of the year is an important, but often overlooked, aspect of health. Using sunscreen is extremely important when it is hot and sunny outside, but it is also important to moisturize your skin too!
Moisture helps your skin repair itself. This comes in handy if your skin is damaged by something more serious, like the sun or an infection. A good amount of moisture in your skin also help reduce the likeliness of minor skin problems like tightness and itchiness.
