Have you ever told a small child not to touch something and noticed the response? It’s as if a child’s mind… doesn’t compute the words such as not and no. Now, what if our adult unconscious mind processed words in the same way? Suddenly, even positive statements take on a reverse and sometimes, negative meaning. For example, when someone thank you, and you reply, “No problem,” your unconscious only hears that there’s a problem and goes out to find more. Unfortunately, mosquitos have been on earth for more than 30 million years, and are not going away any time soon. Make sure you are using bug repellent or ointment when you are outdoors this summer!
