Sunshine Retirement Living offers its services and amenities to seniors on a temporary basis. Most commonly, short-term care is used for the following reasons:
Respite / Hospital Discharge – A short stay for seniors who have been discharged from the hospital or other medical facility and are not physically prepared to return home.
Vacation Stay / Trial Stay – Before transitioning into assisted living or a nursing home, seniors have a chance to meet staff and other residents, and also experience activities and the dining program, before making a decision to move into a community. The intent of the program is to lessen the fear or anxiety usually associated with moving and a change in residence.
