The Setting
You will feel good knowing that Stone Valley is conveniently located near the state of the art Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center and the Tahoe Pacific Hospital. We picked our center’s location with your loved one’s safety and health in mind.
Our Reno retirement apartments are located on attractive, well-tended grounds. Your loved one will be able to enjoy cooler Nevada mornings while strolling through the outdoor walking paths that are enclosed for our residents’ safety.

The highly-trained staff of our Alzheimer’s, Memory Care, and Transitional Care programs are dedicated to offering the best care available for your senior.
Our residents are served gourmet food prepared from fresh ingredients. We know that appetites sometimes decrease as people age. We will monitor your loved one’s diet to make sure he or she is receiving the proper nutrition. Healthy and delicious food is available 24 hours a day. Since most of our residents suffer from memory issues, we follow the Rush University Medical Center’s MIND diet that fosters brain
health.
We also offer innovative programs such as music therapy, aromatherapy, and life skills stations. We take care of the whole person, not just the person’s physical needs.
Our staff is trained in validation techniques to make sure our residents live in a positive atmosphere. Our residents are much more content when we use affirming speech.
We also have many health and wellness activities such as armchair yoga and strength training specifically designed for your senior’s ability.
We organize devotionals every Monday and dance socials once a month. We have fitness classes, movies and manicure afternoons, and corn hole games.
