As one of the oldest towns in America, Charleston is packed with historic architecture and charm, one of its many appeals to tourists.

Did you know that there are actually over 2,500 hundred historic bulldogs within the city? That, coupled with waterfront parks, Spanish moss hanging from the nearby trees, and even horse-drawn carriage rides, there will be no shortage of enchanting experiences when visiting this historic port town. Just a short drive from Ashley Gardens, our memory care, and transitional assisted living community be sure to check out downtown the next time you are in the area.
