  • Potawatomi Zoo – enjoy an adventurous walk around the zoo, home to more than 500 animals. It’s a great place to visit with family, friends, alone or with a group. Explore the beautiful and massive animals like the Amur Tiger and the African Lions. The Potawatomi zoo also houses a farm area, and take advantage of the opportunity to feed the alpacas and goats. In the heat of the summer or the chill of the winter, the animals are always waiting.

 

  • Island Park – this beauty is one you don’t want to miss. Over the famous St. Joseph River in downtown is Island Park. The space was renovated in 2012 to enhance its scenery and to compliment the Century Center, which is adjacent to the park. Host to the biggest and best festivals and concerts, the venue also makes a great space for outdoor weddings. If there are no scheduled events, sit beneath the shade of the canopy and enjoy an intimate setting while having lunch or dinner.
