We understand that primary caregivers for older loved ones may occasionally require a short break from delivering care to recharge their batteries or to go on vacation or a work trip. Or, perhaps your loved one requires in-depth post-op care after a surgery to help them recover in an environment with round-the-clock care.

RESPITE CARE OPTIONS
Most commonly, short-term care is used for the following reasons:
Caring for a senior loved one can be demanding. Respite care provides temporary relief for primary caregivers, allowing them to rest, recharge, and focus on their own health and well-being.
This short stay is for seniors who have been discharged from a hospital or medical facility but are not yet ready to safely return home and need additional support during recovery.
A short-term stay that allows seniors to experience daily life in a Sunshine community, meet residents and staff, and explore activities and dining before making a decision to move.
